KIM HUBBARD - PHOTO EDITOR

Kim Hubbard is a freelance photo editor based in Silver Spring, Maryland. She worked as a senior photo editor at the White House for the last year of President Obama’s administration, and before that as a senior photo editor at National Geographic. Prior to moving to Washington, D.C., she was the photo editor at Audubon and Discover magazines in New York City. She has a master’s degree in journalism from the Missouri School of Journalism in Columbia, Missouri.

don bartletti - photojournalist

Don won the 2003 Pulitzer Prize for Feature Photography for "Enrique's Journey," a series of photo essays in the Los Angeles Times, about young Central American migrants struggling to reach the U.S. on freight trains through Mexico. In 2015, he was a Pulitzer finalist for "Product of Mexico," a year-long chronicle about the exploitation of farmworkers on Mexican ranches. He retired from the Times after 32 years and is a guest lecturer and teacher at universities and high schools across the country.

max campbell - The New Yorker

Max Campbell is an independent photo editor and writer. Until recently, he edited The New Yorker's photography blog, Photo Booth, where he produced stories that have been recognized in international photography competitions. Previously, he worked in education at the International Center of Photography, and in digital media at Aperture Foundation. Originally from St. Louis, he now lives in Brooklyn.

 

benjamin rasmussen - photojournalist

Ben is a photojournalist based in Denver, Colorado. His clients include top national titles such as TIME, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, GQ, and ESPN the Magazine. He spent his childhood with indigenous peoples in the Philippines, his university years with evangelicals in northwest Arkansas, and a year with the descendants of Vikings in the Faroe Islands.

judith puckett-rinella - Whisper Editions

Judith is the founder and president of Whisper Editions. Previously, she was the photography director at T: The New York Times Style Magazine and Vanity Fair. She has been nominated for four Emmy Awards and has won two Webby Awards. She also currently serves as the photography director at large for Entrepreneur magazine.

mike belleme - photojournalist

Mike is a photographer based outside of Asheville, North Carolina, where runs a studio and works for clients such as The New York Times Magazine, CNN, MSNBC, Wired.com, the Associated Press, The Guardian, and more. After spending more than three years living in a tree house in the woods, he now sleeps in a more traditional structure.
