Digging through the archives, we came across some images of our very first closing week.
Everything about making a 200+ page print magazine was new to us then. Sure, each of us had experience in different parts of the editorial world, but it was in the form of supplying the individual pieces—words, photographs, illustrations, design—to make a magazine go. But when it came to completing the entire process ourselves... well, let's just say there was a lot of trial and error.
But when we look back at these images and think of all the unseen sleepless nights in early 2014 as we closed the book on our maiden voyage to Marfa, Texas, it seems like forever ago.
