I have been lucky enough to ride in some serious weather over the past couple of years using a variety of different gear from dirty cheap to uber expensive. The main thing I've found is true with all gear: You get what you pay for. If you want to stay dry, warm, and look like a pro, you don't need to go any farther than Rapha. I am stoked to see their new offerings in the Deep Winter Collection—and I'm looking forward to testing some new items, like the Pro Team Thermal Aerosuit, out this winter season.
Stay tuned for some reviews!
If you don't have spare cash lying around to buy biking gear, but you still want to ride, the key is layering. Use any windbreak layers you can find, and layer with something thermal. Gloves, overshoes and good tights are the best investments you can make. —Jesse Lenz
